Red's Sleepy Update

Hi. It's me again, posting another update regarding our splendid little game.

At the moment, we are all hard at work getting the stories written for the Prequel VNs, and I'm happy to say that we are making a lot of progress! Layla's should be out in September, Judger has made great progress with her prequel story, and everything has been going great. The rest will be out by the holiday season, if all goes well. We've also gained another team member, an artist who you will more than likely hear from in the coming week. I will say that they are very talented, and I am quite excited to see what they can do! Our music department has been busy as well, Victor Seven has composed another track to be used in the game, this one sounding a bit more upbeat than the one we've shown. Though, sadly, we won't be releasing anymore tracks, not for a while at least. If you wanna hear them, you'll just have to wait for the game to be released!

And now, I have some more concept art to show! Though these actually weren't made by our artists. I found a character generator online, and decided to check it out. I was actually so impressed with what I ended up with, that I decided to use the character I made as a reference for Elise. So, yeah, say hello to Elise folks!

Of course, we'll have her look a bit different. Her clothes, first off, will be entirely different, and her hair will probably be a bit different as well. However, this will be the "base" image that will be used for her future art.

Judger also made one for Layla, but we will still be sticking with Daru's art, of course.

Now, a little about my progress regarding Elise's prequel story. I have decided on a time and general story outline. Without giving too much away, it will be a story that Elise recalls from her childhood, a rough period in her life that helped shape her to be the way she is in the present. Her close relationship with her older sister Eve will also be explored, among other... darker things. As far as the actual writing process, well, I've been unable to stick with one idea, and have been continuously modifying the story as I write it. So far though, every modification has been an improvement, and I am enjoying writing the story I have thought out so far. Elise, as a character, is becoming easier to write for, as I am getting a better idea of what I want her personality to be like. I shall do my best to keep you all posted, and to post more updates on the blog!
