Studio Logo, New Art, and some Insight :D

Greetings all!

It's time for another update from me, The_Judger, and I think you'll like this one! ;D  (You better D:<)

So first off, if you noticed, we have our SC7 logo up now! :D Mocha, one of our glorious new designers, created it, and it fits perfectly! Everybody, cheers for Mocha and SC7!!

And now.......

~ Thanks to daru for the art!

There she is, Layla! :D As said before, nightly progress is made on our forums/IRC, and we can't wait to bring you our Mini-VN releases at the end of the summer!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I tend to write a bit differently from most people - I store up my inspiration in little "banks", which I use as fuel for later. Basically, while most tend to get inspired and then write, I tend to get inspired, then save it, then use different bits of each piece of inspiration later. Why do I do this? Well... it's just how I've always written, and it works for me.
Now, Layla is an interesting girl, and writing for her can be tricky, but it is ALWAYS enjoyable and moving. Being both a recluse and an energetic, sensual lass seems somewhat enigmatic, and indeed this is the case, but it blends together in a very believable fashion - you'll all get to find out very soon. While one of my goals in developing her character was to break some standard archetypes, ultimately, I just put my energy into molding a believable and "real" character, something I think that ALL of our writers have succeeded in doing.
Have you ever felt conflicted? Of course you have, everybody has; Life in many ways is black and white, whilst also being grey at the same time. How does this make sense exactly? *Subjectivity*
Ultimately, Layla is a conflicted person, knowing what she wants and how to get it, but feeling unable to do so - there is always something in the way, and I think we can all relate to this.
I'd love to talk more, but I must be going. Thanks for the read, and please stay tuned! My next post will give a little more detail into the musical side of Layla - in many ways, her truest form of self.
